Customers have the option of setting up WINSALES synchronization to run as a Scheduled Task in Windows which will allow users to launch the synchronization program with the command line features.
Set this up by creating the scheduled task by going to START + PROGRAMS + ACCESSORIES + SYSTEM TOOLS and select SCHEDULED TASKS.
Browse to the shortcut you have created to the synchronization program with the command line attached to the shortcut’s target (see sup023 for details on creating a shortcut with command line).
Schedule the Task to run as frequently as you wish. If OUTLOOK email is open when the scheduled task is due to perform the email synchronization will work properly (which is an advantage to running as a SERVICE where the email does not work).
