Word is not installed message when attempting to merge from WINSALES (msg 17 in Fufillment Center)

Problem: When attempting to merge any document in WINSALES you receive a message that “Word is not installed”, that you click OK to and are left in WINSALES. In FULFILLMENT CENTER attempting to merge the letter you receive message 17, “unepxected error when attempting to merge”. On another machine the same document merges as expected in WINSALES and FULFILLMENT.

Solution: This problem was experienced by a user on a Win2000 machine running Office2000. Installing Office 2000 SR1 solved this problem.
